The Volumetric Capacity of the containment area shall not be less than the greatest amount of liquid that can be released from the largest tank to be filled. 2. The floor drain shall be equipped with not less than a non combustible 2 inch drain. The drain shall be equipped with a non-combustible valve and lock. Because the liquid is classified as a Class, 1-13 Flammable piping and valves shall be brass or other material that will not cause a spark. 3. A.Slope of not less than 1 percent away from the tank(s) and toward the floor drain shall be provided. ' 4. Emergency venting and normal venting for the tanks shall meet the requirements of NFPA. - #30 5. Wall and floors of the containment area shall be concrete or masonry design an liquid tight and non -absorbent 6. The minimum distance between the tank and the containment wall shall be not less than three feet. .-j . 7. The minimum distance between any two tanks in a single containment area shall be 3 ft. 8. Provide a 20A-120 B/C rated fire extinguisher for each 50 ft of travel distance. 9. The business owner shall prepare and submit a hazardous chemical data sheet indicating the flammable liquid hazard and relative information necessary for the haz-mat control team.
