SCOPE:
This NOA is being issued under the applicable rules and regulations governing the use of construction materials. The
documentation submitted has been reviewed and accepted by (Miami-Dade County RER- Product Control Section to be
used in Miami Dade County and other areas where allowed by the Authority Having Jurisdiction(AI-1J).
This NOA shall not be valid after the expiration date stated below.The ,Lliami-Dade County Product Control Section
(In Miami Dade County).and/or the AHJ(in areas other than Miami Dade County) reserve the right to have this product
or material tested for quality assurance purposes. If this product or material fails to perform in the accepted manner,the
manufacturer will incur the expense of such testing and the AIIJ may immediately revoke, modify,or suspend the use
of such product or material within their jurisdiction. RER reserves the right to revoke this acceptance, if it is
determined by Miami-Dade County Product Control Section that this product or material fails to meet the requirements
of the applicable building code.
This product is approved as described herein,and has been designed to comply with the Florida Building Code
including the High Velocity Hurricane Zone of the Florida Building Code.
DESCRIPTION: Atlas Underlayments
LABELING: Each unit shall bear a permanent label with the manufacturer's name or logo,city.state and following
statement: ":Miami-Dade County Product Control Approved", unless otherwise noted herein.
RENEWAL of this NOA shall be considered after a renewal application has been filed and there has been no change
in the applicable building code negatively affecting the performance of this product.
TER%,IINATION of this NOA will occur after the expiration date or if there has been a revision or change in the
materials. use. and or manufacture of the product or process. disuse of this NOA as an endorsement of any product. for
sales. advertising or any other purposes shall automatically terminate this NOA_ Failure to comply with any section of
this NOA shall be cause for termination and removal of NOA.
ADVERTISEXIEN'T: The NOA number preceded by the words Miami-Dade County. Florida. and followed
by the expiration date may be displayed in advertising literature. If any portion of die NOA is displayed, then
it shall be done in its entirety.
INSPECTION: A copy of this entire NOA shall be provided to the user by the manufacturer or its distributors and
shall be available for inspection at the job site at the request of the Building Official.
This NOA consists of pages 1 through S.

l. Fire classification is not part of this acceptance.
2.' This acceptance is for prepared roofing applications. Minimum deck requirements shall be in compliance with
applicable building code. WeatherMaster Granular 100,200, 216. Weather141aster Tile,
or WeatherMaster ProGrade Ice& Water underlayments shall be installed in
strict compliance with applicable Building Code.
3. WeatherMaster Granular 100,200,216,or WeatherMaster ProGrade Ice& Water underlayments may be used in
asphaltic shingles, metal panels,wood shakes and shingles and quarry slate roof assemblies. WeatherMaster
Granular 100,200,216, or Weather.Master ProGrade Ice& Water shall not be used as roof tile underlayment.
4. WeatheOvIaster Tile,underlayment may be used in asphaltic shingles,metal panels,wood shakes and shingles,
quarry slate,and tile roof assemblies(mortar,adhesive,and mechanically set).
5.; WeatherMaster Tile underlayment shall not be applied over an existing roof membrane as a recover,but may be
applied over a roofing Base/Anchor sheet underlayment.
6. Weatheriktaster Granular 100. 200. 216, or WeatlierMaster ProGrade Ice& Water underlayment shall not be left
exposed as a temporary roof for longer than 45 days of application.
7. Weatherilriaster Tile underlayment shall not be left exposed as a temporary roof for longer than 180 days of
application_

specific prepared roofing products.
9. WeatherMaster Granular 100.200.216, WeatherMaster Tile. or WeatherMaster ProGrade Ice& Water
underlayments may be used with any approved roof covering Notice of Acceptance listing WeathetAviaster Granular
100, 200.216, Weatheri+iaster Tile,or WeatherMaster ProGrade Ice& Water underlayments as a component part
of an assembly in the Notice of Acceptance. If WeatherMaster Granular 100,200,216,WeatherMaster Tile or
Weather' ProGrade Ice & Water are not listed,a request may be made to the Authority Having Jurisdiction
` (AHJ)or the':Miami-Dade County Product Control Department for approval provided that appropriate
documentation is provided to detail compatibility of the products,wind uplift resistance,and fire testing results.
10. Weatherivlaster Granular 100.200. 216, WeatheriNlaster Tile or Weather4laster ProGrade Ice & Water
underlayments shall be applied to a smooth,clean and dry surface with deck free of irregularities. All nails in the
deck shall be carefully checked for protruding heads. Re-fasten any loose decking panels. Sweep the deck
i thoroughly to remove any dust and debris prior to application.
I I_' When applying the membrane in the valley, start at the low point and work to the high poim rolling the membrane
from the center outward in both directions. For ridge applications, center the membrane and roll from the center
outward in both directions.
12. Roll or broom the entire membrane surface so as to have 1009/o contact with the surface, giving special attention to
overlap areas.
13. Flash vent pipes, stacks, chimneys and penetrations in compliance `vith Roof Assembly current Product Control
,Notice of Acceptance and applicable Building Code.

14: All protrusions or drains shall be initially taped with a 6 piece of underlayment. The flashing tape shalt be pressed in
place and formed around the protrusion to ensure a tight fit_ A second layer of WeatherMaster(granular 100,200,
216, Wea*rMaster Tile or WeatherMaster ProGrade lee& Water underlayments shall be applied over the
underlaympnt
IS. All products listed herein shall have a quality assurance audit in accordance with the Florida Building Code and
Rule 61G20-3 of the Florida Administrative Code.
16_ All membranes or packaging shall bear the imprint or identifiable marring of the manufacturer's name or logo and
the following statement: "Miami-bade County Product Control Approved" or the Miami-Dade County Product
Control Seal as shown below.
