DISTRICT 5 RE: Finished Floor Waiver CHRIS DzA.DoVSKY Dear Mr. Quinteros, VICE -CHAIR DISTRICT 1 Please accept this letter in response to your written request received October 14, 2020 to waive the required finished floor elevation of 18" above the crown of the adjacent road, with a proposal that the minimum finished floor. elevation be 25.5'NAVD. The waiver request is for a proposed SEAN MITCHELI single family residence to be located at 4637 S Header Canal Rd. Ft. Pierce. DISTRICT 2 Pursuant to Section 7.04.01(C-3) of the St Lucie County Land Development Code, the Planning and Development Services Director has the authority to grant administrative relief, when LINDA BAR72 topographical conditions are such that compliance with this subsection would be impracticable DISTRICT 3 or cause grade level conditions detrimental .to adjacent or nearby property, consistent with -the intent of the Flood Protection regulations and any other applicable portion of this Code. The Planning and Development Services Director has granted your request for administrative DISTRICT 4 relief of the finished floor elevation based on the following determinations: 1. The proposed single family residence is located in Flood Zone X. HOWARD N. TIPTON 2. The elevation of the center line of adjacent road is 24.97' NAVD: COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR 3. The average natural grade elevation of the property is approximately 20.5' NAVD. 4. The proposed finished floor elevation for the single family residence is 25.5' NAVD, which is 0.5' above the center line of the adjacent road and 5' above natural grade. DAN MCINTYRE 5. The parcel is ten (10) acres, To raise the pad to>26.47' NAVD would be impracticable. COUNTY ATTORNEY This approval does not in any way constitute authorization to begin construction.
