It is my opinion that the proposed use of stucco to simulate lap siding, provided it is constructed using a 'lap siding bead' as a means of controlling the look and
character of the stucco so that it fully imitates true lap siding- is acceptable and would meet the intent of the Approved Site Plan requirements.
There are examples of use of stucco that may readily be seen online by searching for 'stucco lap siding. I have attached a 'lap siding step bead' manufacturer
information sheet as well as a photo (taken from Indian River County Property Appraiser web site) of a residence that I designed and stucco was used to simulate
lap siding.

The issue is with Watersong . The site plan specifies hardy plank siding; the plans show a stucco facade that looks like hardy plank siding.
