10.0 Design Procedure: Based on the dimensions of the structure,appropriate wind loads are determined
using Chapter 16 of the Florida Building Code 2014 for roof cladding wind loads. These component wind
loads for roof cladding are compared to the allowable design pressures listed herein. The design
professional shall select the the appropriate erection details to reference in his drawings for proper fastener
attachment to his/her structure and analyze the panel fasteners for pullout and pullover. Support framing
must be in compliance with Florida Building Code 2014 chapter 22 for steel, chapter 23 for wood and
chapter 16 for structural loading.
11.0 Limits and Conditions of Use:
11.1 Maximurn allowable design pressures listed in this report
11.2 Fire classification has not been considered and is outside the scope of this report
11.3 Panels were not evaluated structurally to resist shear diaphragm, axial, transverse or
racking loads
11.4 Alternate conditions not specifically addressed by this approval shall be designed by a
registered Florida Professional Engineer or Architect
11.5 The structural adequacy of the substrate bearing the wind loads superimposed by this
product are the responsibility of others
11.6 Underlayment shall comply with the Florida Building Code 5th edition (2014)
11.7 Minimum slope shall comply with the Florida Building Code 5th edition (2014, including
section 1507.4.2 and in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations. For
slopes less than 3:12, lap sealant must be used in the panel side laps
12.0 Quality Assurance Entity: The manufacturer has established compliance of roof panel products in
Accordance with the Florida Building Code and Rule 61 G20-3.005(3)for manufacturing under a quality
assuranceprogram audited by an approved quality assurance agency.
13.0 Certificate of Independence: Pursuant to the requirements of 61620-3 F.A.G, I hereby certify that
this Florida Professional Engineer, performing this evaluation, does not have nor will acquire an interest in
any company manufacturing or distributing products for which the report is being,issued.This is also to
certify that this Florida Professional Engineer, does not have,nor will acquire a financial interest in any
other entity involved in the approval process of this product.
14.0 Certification: in the professional opinion of this evaluating engineer the aforementioned product,
meets the requirements of the Florida Building Code 2014 (5th edition), specifically sections 1504.3.2 and
1504.7 for use in non-HVHZ,when utilized within the limits of use noted herein.

Deck Type: The roof deck shall be constructed of closely fisted,solid sheathing for new or existing
construction. Sheathing-shall be installed in'aroordance with FBC requirements. Roof
decks shall have no more than 119"gap at abuttting:joints.
Min.slope: 2:12.For slopes.less than 4:12,the undedaymegt must be haff4apped a full 24"over the

Installation Instructions. At minimum,mechanically fastened with ruin.12 ga.corrosion

application instructions. Where discrepancies exist between these sources,the more restrictive and FBC
compliant installation detail shall prevail.
6) Deck substrates shall be clean,dry, and free'from any..irregularibes and debris. All fasteners in the deck
shall be checked for protrusion and corrected prior to underlayment application.
6) The roof deck shall be constructed of closely fitted sheathing for ne�r+or existing construction. Roof deck
shall be installed in accordance with FBC requirements.
7) Unless otherwise stated,the minimum roof slope shall be in accordance with FBC requirements.
8) All undedayments shall be installed with the roll length parallel to the eave,starting at the eave,and lapped
in success courses installed up the deck In a manner that effectively'sheds water from the deck. End laps
shall be staggered between courses In accordance with the manufacWi'er's application instructions.
9) Contact the manufacturer when installing at temperatures below the minimum application temperature.
10) The underiayment may be used as described in other current.FBC product approval documents.
11) Roof coverings shall not be adhered directly to the underlayment. .fwof coverings shalt be mechanically
fastened through the underlayment to the roof deck. "
12) The underlayment shall be exposed on the roof deck for a maximum 30 days unless otherwise stated,
13) All products listed in this report shall be manufactured under a quality assurance program in compliance with
Rule 61G2".
