Response: The error has been corrected as Revision 1 on A0.2, the building type is V-B.
4. PROVIDE DETAIL FOR FASTENING SECURITY MESH 107 FBC 6TH ED 2017
Response: Please find the requested detail on sheet A2.6 as Revision 1.
5. PROVIDE DETAIL FOR FASTENING DORMER FRAMING TO STRUCTURE. 107 FBC 6TH ED 2017
Response: Details for the attachment of dormer and cupola framing are currently specified on
the structural drawings. The plans specify the Simpson connectors for attachment of cupola and
dormer trusses to the wood frame walls (please reference plans and wood connector type 4 on
schedule 1/S2.1). The plans also specify the dormer and cupola wood frame walls and their
attachment down to the structure. Please reference note 14 on sheet S2.1 which specifies wood
stud size and spacing, top and bottom plates, Simpson stud plate ties, and Simpson clips for
attachment of the bottom plate to the supporting structure below.
6. PROVIDE DETAIL FOR FASTENING CUPOLA FRAMING TO STRUCTURE. 107 FBC 6TH ED 2017

7. PLEASE FURNISH 2 SETS OF ENGINEERED TRUSS PLANS AND TRUSS DRAWINGS (CUT SHEETS)

REVIEW PROCESS. HOWEVER, THE PERMIT WILL NOT BE ISSUED UNTIL SITE PLAN APPROVAL
HAS BEEN RECEIVED AND ZONING HAS BEEN ABLE TO FINALIZE THE REVIEW. PLEASE BE AWARE
