1) FBC 2017 Building Section 1010.1.10 Panic and fire exit hardware.
Doors serving a Group H occupancy and doors.serving rooms or spaces with an
occupant load of 50 or more in a Group A or E occupancy shall not be provided
with a latch or lock other than panic hardware or fire exit hardware.
2) NFPA 101-15 (FFC 2017) 13.2.2.2.3
Any door in.a required means of egress having an occupant load of 100 persons
or more ... .
3) Submitted Plans indicate an Occupancy of 26 persons. Therefore, the,"single
action exit device" shown on plans is not required and may be substituted with
an ADA compliant lever handle lockset.
