Ocean Dr. Jensen Beach, FL 34957 Dear Mr. Laprade: For the above address, the (3) replaced PGT Industries and (1) replaced PGT Industries, sliding glass door, Series SGD-670, the minimum required wind pressures below are based on FBC 2017 wind load calculations. The applied wind pressures are as follows for the proposed replacement glazed units for Exposure D, per below and NOA: 20-0401.04 and NOA: 20-0429.06 repsectifully: Series: Door or Window: Height Wind Zone: Applied Wind Pressure: (3) SH-5400 25.25”x60.75” 60 ft 5 +52.4 / -66.8psf (1) SGD-5470 59.75”x79.75” 60 ft 5 +52.9 / -67.3psf The (2) mullions joining the (3) SH-5400, by PGT Industries, NOA 20-0406.03 tributary loading meets above applied presuures tranfered from those windows. In reviewing respective NOA for the above window and sliding glass door, the calculated respective design pressures are less than the respective minimum allowable pressures and as such are acceptable to this office.
