Please consider the following in response to Comments referenced above a copy attached.
1. ID existing construction type, sprinkler, prott. And rated partitions and walls.
Response:
Sheet 1.1 under CODE SUMMARY indicates construction type and protection. We have
revised the Occupancy to Group "M" Mercantile. As noted on sheet 1.1, the
construction Type is "V" Unprotected. Walls, structure, etc require no protection per
Table 600 as indicated. The building is not sprinklered since it is only approximately
2,300 sf.
2. Provide UL# for new rated partitions.
Response:
As per above, no rated partitions are required.
3. Door hardware must comply with SBC 1025.2. V
Response:
A note has been added to the Floor Plan on sheet 3.1 reflecting this comment.
,- 4. Handicap parking must comply with FAC 4.29.2 "Detectable Warning" and 4.7 "Curb
Ramp" reqd.
Response:
The scope of work is interior tenant modifications of an existing building and building
site. Parking, including Handicap Parking, and curb ramps exist on the site under
previous work and conditions. No work outside the building is applied for or requested.
5. New metal thresholds must comply with FAC 4.13.8 %2 ".
Response:
Notes have been added to the Floor Plan on sheet 3.1 reflecting this comment.

6. Separate men and ladies reqd by SPC 1994 T407 retail store 12 persons. One drinking
fountain reqd FAC 4.15.
Response:
The second toilet has been redesigned reflecting Handicap compliance and accessibility.
The owner will install a water dispenser refrigerator in the Break R om, and a bottle
water dispenser in the room.
7. Both Toilet rooms must be accessible comply with FAC fig. 28.
