RE: Lot 43 -Dock Plans
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Macleod,
The Association has reviewed your request to install a boat dock on your property, as indicated on the
documents submitted with this request. The plans are acceptable for construction on the water within the rear
property pins of the subject property and we have no objections. Please be advised of the following Nettles
Island Rules and Regulations:
Article 10.1(a), specifically states; "Nothing may be axed, attached, over, or bear weight, in any way, on the
seawall and cap, except conduits for water and electric may extend over the seawall to a Unit Owner's dock or
boat lift and must not be affixed to the seawall or cap. "
Article 9.1, specifically states; "Rescue ladders will be required on all dock construction for safety. "
Please review and adhere to all waterfront property usage rules and regulations and present copies of permits to
condo office prior to construction. Any further mocations must be submitted to condo office for approval.
Also, please be advised that all Architectural approvals issued by Nettles Island are valid for six (6) months. If
additional time is needed, owners must submit supporting documentation to request an additional six (6)
months.

the proposed construction, alteration or addition; or for performance, workmanship or quality of work of arzy contractor or of the
completed alteration or description and shall not be relied upon as an approval or warranty regarding engineering and structural
design, building or zoning code compliance, feasibility or marketabilityfor any purpose, or compliance with applicable building
ordinances, standards, or regulations. By approving the plans and specifications, neither the Architectural Committee or the
members thereof, the Association, the Board, its employees and representatives assumes any liability or responsibility therefore, or for
any defect in any structure constructed there from, and said persons further specifically exclude from such approval any implied
warranty of merchantability and fitness for any purpose.
