The specimen consisted of 3.5" CFS 20GA stud wall assembly. Studs were 24" on center with double studs every 48" on center. Studs were connected using 3/16" diameter rivets at all CFS member intersections. Double studs were attached by using two #10 x 1" self-tapping screws located 24" on center. Horizontal supports were staggered 4' 0-1/4" from the bottom of specimen and 1' 11-3/4" from the top of specimen. Specimen was sheathed with 1/2" gypsum board attached with #8 x 1-1/4"self-tapping drywall screws.
