HomeMy WebLinkAboutNote From OwnerPERMITAPPLICATION PACKET NOTES RE: Price Residence Remodel —Atlantis 310A Attention Michael Halter Mr. Halter, 12/31/2020 Thank you for your help in guiding me through this process. Below are notes that might be helpful. You may note that per Architect Ross Andrews' letter, the design pressures on the window and door openings are still pending. I'm hoping to hear back any day from the Engineer, but Covid has caused some personal delays to this process, and I wanted to get the packet in before the new code goes into effect. Relative to the mechanical plans, one challenge that I faced was meeting the Electrical load talcs with the smaller than customary 100 amp service. In order to meet this 100 amp limit, I am having to change out the heater in my air handler (from a 7 kw heaterto a 4.9 kw heater). I am not changing out the air handler, but included in the HVAC documents, info on the model air handler the new heater was taken from (identical to the existing unit, only with a smaller heater). Should you need additional product information on any of the elements of the remodel, I would be happy to provide them upon request. I think I got all the things that might be significant, given the fact that I simply changed out old with new (for instance, the water heater, vs. changing to a tankless heater). Additionally, I would welcome the opportunity to walk the project with an inspector, should you think that would be helpful in clarifying any additional questions. Thank you again for your assistance. Matthew P (Matt) Price Owner/Builder Applicant (772)521-2357
