None observed. 3. SIGNIFICANT ARCHAEOLOGICAL OR HISTORIC FINDINGS None Identified. Speal Pernik Condrdona: Areas outside of the development footprint shall be considered preservation/protection areas (Land Development Code Section 60005A2). A conspicuous protective barrier shall be placed and maintained around the perimeter of protected area(s) of vegetation to form a continuous boundary as specified in the General Conditions of Issuance section. GeneralConditicins of bauance: The following minimum standards forvegetation protection shall be applied to areas of vegetation designated to be preserved. • At minimum distance of either ten (10) feet from the edge of groups of protected vegetation or from the radius of the dridine from all protected trees, whichever is greater • Protective barrier or protective designations shall remain in place until removal is authorized by SLC ERD, or until issuance of a certificate of occupancy; • In the event that any protective barrier are removed or altered and clearing activities are conducted within an area identified for preserve, SLCERD is authorized to direct that all land clearing and site alteration work atthe site be stopped until the barriersare restored and any necessary corrective actions taken to repair or replant any vegetation removed or damaged as result of these encroachment. • The preserve areas and tree preservation areas shall be maintained in their natural state, so as not to alter the water and oxygen content of the soil and impair it function; • A National Pollutant Discharge Elimination (NPDES) Permit, separate from this permit, may be required for construction activities disturbing 1 acre or more. Please visit AwVJdep state fl us/watr/stonnwatrhades or contact Jose Vega, St Lucie County Stonnwatr Program Coordinator at 772 462-1668 for more information. • No grade changes or excavation of any sort may be made within the barricaded areas; • If any excavation or other activities are expected outside of the preserve area or dridine, the root should first be pruned (to the depth of required excavation) to sever them cleanly; • If underground utilities must be routed through a protected Footsore area, tunneling under the root shall be required, • If irrigation must be installed, it shall be installed outside of the dridine of all preserve areas and protected trees; • No till material, construction material, concrete, paint, chemicals, or other foreign materials shall be stored, deposited or disposed of within a vegetation preservation area; • No equipment, including passenger vehicles, shall be driven, parked, or stored or repaired within designated vegetation preservation areasDESTROYEDORIDAMAGEA Post Clearing Requirements: 1. Mitigation: During a site visit on 12/23/2020, ERD staff noted that sufficient trees are identified for preservation, to meet and exceed the mitigation requirement. 2. Landscaping: The landscape requirement of one native tree per 2,500 square feet of property, up to a maximum of 11 trees, must be met As this property is 1 04 acres (acres X 43,560 = square feet of this property) 45,302 square feet, (square PAYS 500 =trees), 11 trees (measuring 25 diameter at breast height (DBH) & 12HT), or a total of 425 DBH of trees are required. Since this property contains well over this amount of inches of native trees, this requirement can be met by preserving remaining trees onsit.
