It is acceptable to replace existing double hung window, picture window, sliding glass door
openings and mullion bars for the address listed above with the units as follows:
1) D.H.- The PGT Window Systems "SH 5560" Impact PVC double hung window L.M.I. has a
Miami Dade NOA #20-0401.06 The nominal wind speed is 132 mph and the ultimate wind speed
is 170 mph. It has a +70 /-110 design pressure and has a small & large missile "D" approval and
HVHZ.
2) P.W.- The PGT Window Systems "PW 5520A" Impact PVC picture window has a Miami
Dade NOA #20-0401.16. The nominal wind speed is 132 mph and the ultimate wind speed is 170
mph. It has a +80 /-100.0 design pressure and has a large missile "D" approval and HVHZ. This
unit is located in a Zone 4.
3) S.G.D. - The PGT "5570/2770" series PVC S.G.D. has a Miami Dade NOA #20-0429.05.
The nominal wind speed is 132 mph and the ultimate wind speed is 170 mph.
It has a +100 / -100 design pressure. It has a small and large missile "D"
approval HVHZ. This unit is located in a Zone 4.
3) MULLION BARS - The Series "PGT" Clipped Extruded Aluminum Tube Mullion - has a
Miami Dade NOA # 20-0406.03. The nominal wind speed is 132 mph and the ultimate wind
speed is 170 mph. It has a +170.0 /-170.0 design pressure and has a large & small missile "D"
approval and HVHZ . This unit is located in a Zone 4.
SCOPE OF WORK: New double hung & picture window, sliding glass door and mullion
bar replacement.
