Fyi, I was talking with William burden this afternoon regarding the building permits at Creekside. He stated all the
existing under construction permits in flood zones will go through to CO, provided the FEMA elevation certificate Is
submitted at Final inspection.
He stated they are holding any new permits within the flood zones. He stated there are two paths forward to permit.
One, Obtain LOMA from FEMA....
Two, Revise architect plans that currently state the house is NOT designed to be constructed within the flood zone.
I remember we previously had this conversation (regarding option two) at length. I'm not sure what the ultimate
decision was with your architect? Seems to me that the note could be amended to state "If constructed within a flood
zone,,must be placed at an elevation above the BFE +1.0', per Florida Building Corp"

SEPARATED FROM ALLfHABITABLE ROOMS ABOVE BY NOT LESS THAN 5 / 8 -INCH TYPE X GYPSUM BOARD OR EQUIVALENT.
WHERE THE SEPARATION IS A FLOOR -CEILING ASSEMBLY, THE STRUCTURE SUPPORTING THE SEPARATION SHALL ALSO BE

THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR MUST TAKE MEASURES TO CONTROL SOIL EROSION AS PER ALL LOCAL AND STATE

CONTRACTOR IS TO VERIFY THE ELEVATION OF THE FINISHED FLOOR SLAB WITH THE SIGNED AND SEALED SURVEY

BAITING SYSTEMS AND PESTICIDES APPLIED TO WOOD, OR OTHER APPROVED METHODS OF TERMITE PROTECTION
LABELED FOR USE AS A PREVENTATIVE TREATMENT TO NEW CONSTRUCTION. UPON COMPLETION OF THE
APPLICATION OF THE TERMITE PROTECTIVE TREATMENT, A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE SHALL BE ISSUED TO THE
