System Description This system is a grid-tied, PV system, with PV generation consisting of 46 LGNEON2 LG355N1C-N5 (355W) MODULES with a combined STC rated dc output powerof 16330W. The modules are connected into 46 ENPHASE IQ7PLUS-72-2-USMICROINVERTERS. The inverter has electronic maximum power point tracking tomaximize energy captured by the PV modules. The inverter also has an internal groundfault detection and interruption device that is set to disconnect the array in the eventthat a ground fault that exceeds one ampere should occur. The inverter has DC and ACdisconnect integrated system and labels are provided as required by the NationalElectric CodeWhen the sun is shining, power from the PV array is fed into the inverter, whereit is converted from DC to AC. The inverter output is then used to contribute to thepower requirements of the occupancy. If PV power meets the requirements of theloads of the occupancy, any remaining PV power is sold back to the utility. When utilitypower is available, but PV power is not available, building loads are supplied by theutility.The inverter meets the requirements of IEEE 1547 and UL 1741.
