St.Lucie County makes no representation that is granting a permit will authorize the permit holder to build the subject structure
which is in conflict with any applicable Home Owners Association rules,bylaws or and covenants that may restrict or prohibit such
structure. Please consult with your Home Owners Association and review your deed for any restrictions which may apply.
In consideration of.the granting of this requested permit,I do hereby agree that I will,in all respects,perform the work
in accordance with the approved plans,the Florida Building Codes and St. Lucie County Amendments.
The following building permit applications are exempt from undergoing a full concurrency review:room additions,
accessory structures,swimming pools,fences,walls,signs,screen rooms and accessory uses to another non-residential use
WARNING TO OWNER:Your failure to Record a Notice of Commencement may result in your paying twice for
improvements to your property.A Notice of Commencement must be recorded and posted on the jobsite

Dear Mrs. Buchas:
Installation of a Handicap ramp is permitted, if the following requirements are met.
Handicap ramps are only approved for the use of the person with the disability. Thus, any installation
will be of temporary construction so that when the ramp is no longer required or the home is sold, the
ramp can be removed.
Handicap accessible home entry ramps must be built to the latest Florida Accessibility Code for
Building Construction.
I contacted the St. Lucie County Building Permit Department and was informed that a Handicap ramp
is considered as a part of an entrance, same as steps, and requires a building permit. The building
permit is required whether the ramp is attached or not attached to the structure. A ramp also must
meet wind mitigation requirements.
Handicap ramps require La Buona Vita Co-Op, Inc. Board of Directors' approval and a St. Lucie
County building permit.
The La Buona Vita Co-Op, Inc. Board of Directors will approve•the construction of the Handicap ramp
to the addressee, at the residential address above, per drawing provided and attached. The approval
is also contingent upon compliance of the all applicable Federal, State, County and other local laws
and codes with issuance of the St. Lucie County building permit.
