Dear Leslie Olson, AICP Director -Planning & Development Services Dept. am submitting a request relief of Code for the min. finished floor elevation of 18" above the center line of the road. The proposed finished floor elevation is 23.3' and the elevation of the center line of the road is 21.95'. When the House was built, the road was unpaved (dirt). 6 years ago the County hauled numerous loads of fill dirt in and paved the road- bringing the center line of the road up 6-8 inches. The house is also 250 feet back from the road and the County installed a culvert under the road to the Canal on the other side of the road to drain the front of the property. The property is located at : 1820 South Brocksmith Rd. Fort Pierce, FI 34945 The Building Permit is : 2012-0353 I am therefore requesting a waiver. Thank You, Steven L. Wothers Please Note: Florida has very broad public records laws.
