GENEREAL NOTES
1. All details provided comply with FBC 2020 7th Edition & ASCE 7-10.2. Ultimate Design Wind Speed :170 mph, Exposure C, & Category I.3. All concrete (existing & new) shall have a min. compressive strength of 2500 psi.
4. All concrete anchors supporting columns shall have min. 212" embedment regardless of Spec details.5. Interpolation is allowed when using beam and column tables.6. Existing footers may be used if they are in satisfactory structural condition. If incorporating in exist. slab dowel to new footers with #5 12" rebar dowels @ 24" O.C. epoxyed into the existing footers with min emb. of 6", with Simpson Strong-Tie epoxy or equivalent.7. All conc. anchors shall be Simpson Strong-Tie Wedge, Tapcon w/ min ultimate ten. strength of 60ksi8. Contractor must insulate aluminum members from dissimilar metals to prevent electrolysis.9. All Aluminum structural components shall be of 6005-T5 or 6061-T6 alloy and be certified to comply with all applicable alloy specifications. Maximum house overhang cantilever shall be 2ft.
10. Fasteners must have min 12" head or be provided with 12" dia. washers min.11. Calculations based on using 18/14 screen mesh, if 20/20 mesh is used, tables shall be revised.12. Bolts and all fasteners shall be non-magnetic coated stainless for corrosion resistance.
