Dear Sir or Madam:
Pursuant to your request, Florida Engineering & Testing, Inc., has performed a site inspection on
April 17, 18 and 20, 2017, at the above referenced project. The purpose of our inspection was to
monitor pile installation operations.
Twelve (12) helical piles, consisting of 2-7/8 inch shaft diameter with two (2) helices of 10 and
12 inches were drilled to the indicated resistance to achieve a minimum allowable capacity in
compression of five (5)tons per pile and an ultimate capacity in compression of ten(10)tons per
pile. Two (2) helical piles, consisting of 2-7/8 inch shaft diameter with two (2) helices of 10 and
12 inches were drilled to the indicated resistance to achieve a minimum allowable capacity in
compression of two (2) tons per pile and an ultimate capacity in compression of four (4) tons per
pile. Please refer to the attached Report of Helical Pier/Pile Installation for details.
