Dear Mr.Madani
This letter is to confirm that have revieWcd the above ASTIVI E-119,E-84, ASTM E 136 and
C1 1.86 Standards. Then have not changed in regard to testing of the Nichiha USA, Inc. panels as
originally evaluated under the 2007 edition of the FBC vs. 2014: Therefore,these test standards
are in compliance with the 2014 FL Building Code,
I have revid-wed the ASTM CI 186-08 Standard Specification for Flat Nbn-AsbesWs,Fiber-
Cement Sheets(ASTM Cl 186-07) for equivalence to ASTM.Cl 1,86--07. It is my professional,
opinion the requirements for the physical specifications, are equivalent between ASTNI C 1186-08
and ASTM C 1186-08.
1,have reviewed the ASTM E84-09 Standard Test Method for Surface Burning Characteristics of
Building Matefials:(ASTM.E84-07),for.equivalciicett)ASTM E84-07. It is my professional
opinion the requirements for the test requirements are equivalent betWeen ASTM E84-04 and
ASTWE84-07.
I have reviewed.the ASTM EI 19-00"Standard'I'est'\4ethod for Fire Tests of Building
Construction and Materials for equivalence to ASTM F 119-08. It is my professional opinion the
test requirOrnibnts are equivalent between ASTM El 19-00 and
ASTM 11119-08.
.1 have reviewed the ASTM 8 136-09 Standard Test Method for Fire Tests of Building
Construction and Materials for equivalence to ASTM El 36-09. It is iny professional opinion the
