Following are the narrative answers to the Plans Reviewers Comments and where to find them in the
subject Plans:
1. Energy Calculation attached to set of plans in cut sheets, I have used the EMS approved
software to determine the BTU and CFM in any air outlets and the ENERGY GAUGE
Software program as you required
2. Window and Door Buck details in page S-01,per product approval specs.
3. CFM'S As per Calculations and equipment Schedule in Page M-01,
4. A scale section showing the air supply and return distribntion ;,n page M-01 for the existing
Combo air-conditioning Unit. The strapping noted to suF,port J60 mph Wind per FBC
5. Shower detail in page P-01 shows the ASTM testing criteria number and attachment fasteners
6. Door and Windows Buck and Flashing as per NOA's in Page S-01 and attached cut NOA
Sheets
7. EMS Calculations originally Signed and sealed and new ENERGY GAUGE Calculations
attached signed and sealed.
8. The scope of work in page CP stated that "THE AREA IN THE BACK YARD WAS EXISTING,
THE CHANGES WERE SPECIFICALLY TO MODIFY THE LAUNDRY AND STORAGE AREA TO
HAVE AN INDEPENDENT BATHROOM AND THE LAUNDRY ROOM.
THE GARAGE WAS CONVERTED IN INTO A NEW DEN/HOBBY/PLAYROOM AREA
THE EXISTING SCREENED AREAS WERE INTO A CBS WALLS AND WERE REPLACED BY
NEW CBS WALLS AROUND NEW WINDOWS AND SLIDING DOOR
NO BASIC STRUCTURAL WORK WAS PERFORMED"

As FOR I have completed the inspection related to the areas under the requirements of
the FBC 2014, 5th Edition, ELECTRICAL in the reference address with the following
comments:
1. The permit card was exposed in working place
2. Notice of commencement in field
3. Electrical panel Clearance 36 inch wide and 6'-6" high, per code (E 330.5)
4. Receptacles spaces in wall no more that 12' apart within 6' of a door
5. Minimum 20 Amps circuits in kitchen, Laundry and batrooms, wired 12
Gauge wire size
6. Kitchen Countertop receptacles spacing.every.Z feet-on,center
7. Wiring protected from abrasion and physical damage
8. Smoke detectors hard wired in each bedrooms and corridor and
interconnected with batteries backup. Separation of walls and ceilings per
code as the separation of min. Tfeet from air movement.
