Comment#1 Please find enclosed the required product approvals for the materials being used that require such documents. Comment#2 This page is already in the plan set submitted.Comment#3 The original signed and sealed truss engineering is now included.Comment#4 the revised plans now show the existing wall inside the garage as required and clouded. Comment#5 The existing wall from the garage to the house is an exterior wall of the house that was built in 1975.It is of 2x4 frame construction with T1-11 wood siding that has been covered wit stucco. It is insulated with batt insulation and finished with drywall on the inside which is partially the existing garage and the laundry ' roan.The revised plan shows the removal of the existing garage door and one'of the windows during/after the addition is up and the infill of the removed window. Should anything else be required of that existing wall such i as extra strapping or replacement of framing it shall be done in compliance of the 2014 Florida building code. The waiver.request is for a VICE-CHAIRMAN proposed garage to an existing single family residence(SFR)at 5202 Pinetree Dr.Fort Pierce. DISTRICT 2 Pursuant to Section 7.04.01(C-3)of the St Lucie County Land Development Code,the Planning LINDA BARTZ and Development Services Director has the authority to grant administrative relief, when DISTRICT 3 topographical conditions are such that compliance with this subsection would be impracticable or cause grade level conditions detrimental to adjacent or nearby property, consistent with the intent of the Flood Protection regulations and any other applicable portion of this Code. We are requesting a relief from this code. The centerline elevation of the road is 16.9' and our existing floor elevation which we would be matching is 18'. To meet the current code would result in a step from our existing garage floor to our new garage floor. After having this conversation with Jeff Johnson, Senior Planner back in March of this year it was determined that we should submit the plans to match the existing floor elevation of 18'.Your cooperation on this matter would be greatly appreciated to allow us to move forward with our addition.
