OBSERVATIONS:
Shoring is in place as specified in the permit drawings.
Unit 108/208
• (10) Post tension (PT) cables have been locked off at the north elevation.
• Loose concrete has been chipped and removed around the cables.
• Existing bursting bars at slab edge are corroded and require replacing.
• Longitudinal reinforcing bars have minor corrosion and require power tool cleaning and coating.
Unit 408/508
• Lock off plates have been removed from (8) PT cables and have been re-stressed.
• Wedge anchors have been placed at the re-stressed cable ends and cables cut flush with slab.
• Due to the proximity of the cables, the re-stressing will be done in two phases. The remaining (5) cables will
be re-stressed next week.
• The secondary concrete pour at the lock off is complete.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Unit 108/208
• Replace the bursting bars at the slab edge, dowel and lap with existing.
• Provide 45-degree bursting bars laps at the corner.
• The first pour shall include column type sections between PT cables for additional support during re-stressing.
