FL 34952 Dear Sirs: In accordance with your authorization, Federal Moisture Survey in compliance with TAS-126 Job Order # 21 RO54 Engineering & Testing, Inc. has performed a Roof and the Florida Building Code Section 1521.12 on January 27, 2021 at the above referenced project site. The purpose of our survey was to determine the moisture content of the exterior roof. This is a roof moisture survey only and is not considered a roof top inspection. The subject building consists of a C.B.S. structure with a built up roof system over ISO insulation over a metal roof deck. On January 27, 2021 our field engineer visited the site and conducted a nuclear moisture survey. In addition, 5 core samples were secured to verify the oven dried moisture contents. All tests were performed according to the Florida Building Code Section 1521.12, Protocol TAS-126 and the Roof Consultants Institute "Standard Practice for the Detection and Location of Latent Moisture in Building Roofing Systems by Nuclear Thermalization" using a Troxler Model 3216. Pursuant to the Florida Building Code Section 1521.12; the moisture content of the existing roof system shall not exceed 5% by weight in the roof membrane and 8% by weight in the insulation system. \ a , ® MIAMCM-D FDO n®T J aowaon //' March 25, 2021 Prima Vista 7526 - 7576 South US Highway 1 Port St. Lucie, FL 34952 Page 2 The following is a summary of the core test results: Aederal gineering esting, Inc. Out of a total of 359 grid point locations none were found with trapped moisture greater than 5% in the roof membrane layers or 8% in the insulation layers. (See attached roof top plan for locations of corings and results of each test grid). The test results presented reflect the condition of the roof system at the time of the test. These results are time and sample dependent since roof conditions are continuously changing due to exposure to the elements and roof top traffic. It has been a pleasure serving you at this phase of your project and look forward to doing so in the near future. H N ' •• C E NSF••• qy$ No. 59394 • ;0 -o • • ct 'A ••• STATE OF ; 4!
