To Whom it may concern:
Please be advised of the repairs / replacement of the front porch posts and siding for the
above referenced residence shall be installed as specified below.
1. 5/8" T1-11 siding shall be fastened to existing studs with 8d nails at 4" o.c. perimeter and 8" o.c.
field. Install house wrap as needed if not currently there.
2. Replace 4 front post with p.t. 4x4 posts with Simpson post base ABU44Z with 5/8" x 5 Y2"
expansion bolt and 12-16d nails, and Simpson post cap BC4 with 12-16d nails along with 1
Simpson MTS 16 with 14-10d nails.
The above installation of posts and T1-11 siding is in accordance with the 2020 Florida Building Code 160
MPH wind zone, Exposure "C" Risk Category II.
