INSTALLATION CHECKLIST
No verbal agreements are recognized. All terms wig be in willing and detailed on contract and
)4M- job specification provided by Florida Window and Door.

4C- Project Coordinators... You will Le assigned your own Project Coordinator who will be
responsible to schedule the dates of your measure, installation and municipal inspections.
, ^ Your Project Coordinator will contact you prior to your Installation and let you know the time
j(,i.) your Crew is expected to arrive within a four Four time frame; for example 8-12, but it does
vary depending on job location, traffic and material pick-up.

5 Installation dates are weather permitting, we use local weather reports as our guide due to

7 , Installation Team... We only use a 'ldrida Y k 8 Door installers. All work is
guaranteed by Florida Window 8 L nevsr I worry.
8 Power... Customer agrees to provide ra vow •nu wr Installation Teams with use of
eldohicty for installation.
9 Children and pets... Please provide a safe location away from the area during the installation
process. Installers use power tools and we donl want anyone hurt.
10 Rotted Wood is beyond our control and often rot able to be recognized at time of measure. in
the rare coo tones that we do find instances in which wood rot is present, the customer will be
notified and there will be an additional charge to replace it.
11 We will obtain all necessary window, door, and shutter permits, site specific engineering,
architectural renderings when applicable and information required by the municipality. The
Customer will be responsible to sign, notarize and return all permit documents and provide the
Homeowners Association contact information and when appFcabie assist us in the submission
of the application to the Association. Customer acknowledges length of time to manufacture
the product and submission of permit will be dependent on the timely return of all documents,
the Association approval, site specific engineering, architectural renderings and any other
items or approvals required in order to submit the permit to the municipality. As a result, the
Homeowner acknowledges and agrees that the permit may be submitted to the municipality
by °Sege'' beyond the 30 days as required in Fl. StaL 489.126 and House Bill 7125. Any
delay associated with the Customer failing to return or provide signatures or other necessary
information shall not be the responsibility of the "Seller."
12 Financing... if you are gaining your balance, Florida Window and Door's Finance
Department will notify you of your loan approval. We will work hard with the finance
I ompanies to get your loan approved. However, somstimas terms may charge based on
\ lacrding requirements. The Finance Company may also require you to provide additional
information and/or pull additional credit reports prior to the final approval of the ban. Your
cooperation will expedite the process. Financing may add additional time to the start of your
project due to additional information being needed or documents executed. Changes in credit
history may vold the terms and conditions of the contract.
i While your installation is in process there will be dust and debris. Our installation Teams will
do their best to minimize this from happening. But ocoassionally, it does happen and "Seller'
cannot be responsible for any damage to landscaping or for professional cleaning.
14 Dumpster/Storage... Under no circumstances do we leave job debris on your property. We
remove everything for safety reasons. Please do not ask our representatives R you can keep
scrap. Dumpaters are not for customer use. We most be given a suitable place to work and
store material. In the rare occasion, that there is not storage or work area available we will
utilize storage containers but that will be done at additional expense to you.
15 Wood... We do not replace wood framing, molding, rasing or stops on your windows and doors.
We reuse the exisgrg. In certain situations we do make replacement moldngs available for purchase
at additional cost which can be added to your work order. However, intricate or h"sho ical mic"
designs may require a finished carpenter to replace and will be the responsibility of the Customer.
16 Construction Concerns... We do NOT do any painting or staining to existing structures or
fiberglass doors. Sometimes, plaster, dryweii, or stucco may crack or be damaged during
installation. We will repair the affected areas and prepare them for paint Additional stucco and
drywall repair that is considered beyond minimal or is outside the scope of the contract and
requires a pmfessonal tradesmen to complete is not included in this contract and will be the
responsibility of the Customer.
17 Grids/Privacy Glass... If you ordered grids on your windows, the patterns will be same as
i what is existing unless otherwise specified an your specification sheet. Privacy glass will be
based on what is designated on the specification sheet.
18 • Screens... Hag screens are standard with all Single Hung and Horizontal Rolling windows.
19 windowTheabnentsrFu rnium... We require that you remove all windowtreatments prior 10 your
installation. We do not take down or reinstall any widow imabnents In the event window treatments
are net removed we take no, responsibility for their condition after removal, Most znrkwv treatments
will fit after instageron of new windows and doors however, this is not guarameed. We do not move
E furniture. Please rove furniture and valuables at least 411. from work area in order to safeguard your
property from damage and allow our crews proper access to work ones.
20 Humcane Shugers/r oors... In circumstances in which we remove hurricane shutters, we will
NOT reinstall them rot fill any holes as a result of the removal. We will not remove shutters
above the second floor. We do notgutuarnee after a window or door installation that the shutters
will open and close without additional modification. service or maintenance being performed
by a shutter service company Please note: that working candtions of a shuer system are
dependnt on age, proper maimarhance, and type of shinier. Customer acknowledges that floor
,j repair may be necessary and that all heights may be different then original.
21 Alarm contacts.. Will not be reconnected. As you must be a licensed alarm company to work
on alarms. Seller will leave the wires exposed when possible and your alarm company will
need to come out and reconnect them.
2` Customer understands the details and time frames as outlined in my Installation Checklist and
received a copy. Please start my order in accordance with the lime frame provided.
