PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Elastoflex SA Base membrane is a self-adhered, elastomeric base ply low-slope roofing
product manufactured using patented ADESO®dual-compound self-adhered technology,
whereby a "true"Slyrene-Butadiene-Slyrene(SBS)modified asphalt compound is applied F
on the top layer and an aggressive self-adhesive compound is applied on the bottom layer.
Elastoflex SA Base membrane is built with a strong non-woven polyester mat to enhance tear Q �
strength and puncture resistance, providing a robust membrane that resists natural forces and ym"'

When used in conjunction with Elastoflex SA P or other approved Pol loss self-adhered

cap sheet, Elastoflex SA Base provides cleaner application, improved application speed
and removes the need for torches, hot asphalt or bonding adhesives on the job site.
Elastoflex SA Base membrane is finished with film that has laylines on the top surface and a

1. Start at the low point of the roof.
2. Unroll the material and allow to relax.
3. Start by removing the first 18-24"of release film.
4. Press the membrane into place with firm and even pressure.
Roll the edges with a silicone hand roller to ensure complete
adhesion.
5. Gradually remove the remaining release film applying
pressure from the center to the edges as you go.
6. Position successive rolls providing a minimum 6"end lap
and 3"side lap. Laps can be sealed for additional water
tightness with a hot air welder.
7. Roll with an 80#split-face linoleum roller.Take care on sloped roofs
by securing the roller and applicator with the appropriate safety
equipment.Intermittent rolling is recommended to ensure complete
contact to underlying surface.
8. When addressing the field details of the seaming intersection
treatment(cutting 45 degree at TJoints],additional care must
be taken to ensure the required Polyglass detail is performed.
Complete installation instructions can be found on packaging or by
calling Polyglass Technical Services.
Details and flashing may be installed using Elastoflex SA Base
with a hot air welder or with PG 500 Roof Cement or PolyPlus 50
Premium Modified Wet/Dry Cement. Check project details for
proper installation requirements.

Polyflex SA P is a self-adhered APP(plostomeric)granulated cap sheet for use in low-slope roofing. 3
Polyflex SA P is manufactured using Polyglass'patented ADESO"d Self-Adhered Dual-Compound ��`
Technology.With this technology, a "true'Atactic Polypropylene(APP)modified asphalt compound
is applied to the top of the membrane and an aggressive, proprietary, self-adhesive compound is

applied to the bottom. Polyflex SA P is constructed with a tough non-woven polyester reinforcement
that provides flexibility and dimensional stability as well as excellent tear and puncture resistance.

Polyflex SA P cap sheet also features SEALLapP ULTRA, side lap with self-adhesive compound for an instant bond, tested stronger than all other application methods and FASTLap°, granule-
free end lap. Each of these patented features provide for greater ease of application as well as
