Tear Off, Tile Roofing 1 Layer Concrete Tile, 1 Layer Membrane„ Tear off existing

concrete tile roofing to the existing plywood boards, remove all flashing components
down to the existing wood substrate. Panda Contractors, Inc. will check the condition of
the existing wood substrate and repair any rotted or deteriorated wood (at an additional
charge).

Stucco - Where stucco exists„ Cut stucco out approximately 8" above the roof deck.

This is to replace the deteriorated roof to wall flashing behind the stucco work. Leave
two inches of the existing lath membrane and one inch of the existing stucco wire. We
will then install a new roof to wall flashing, step flashing, and or custom corners to flash
the roof to wall transition. The new flashing will be at least 3 inches behind the existing
lath membrane and 5 inches over the roof deck. Re -stucco with two coats; a scratch
coat and a final sponged coat. Fibered premium stucco mix is used to minimize the
possibility of cracking and settling of the new stucco. We will attempt to match the
existing stucco texture, however, we cannot guarantee a perfect match. WE DO NOT
PAINT UNLESS EXTERIOR PAINT IS PROVIDED TO OUR WORKERS BEFORE
COMPLETION OF THE JOB.

application. Place material and align the membrane with the lowest edge of the roof.
Fold the aligned membrane in half exposing the split release film or remove release from
beneath the membrane. Peel release film at a 45 angle in constant motion, ensuring to
keep weight on the outer edges as you progress. Position the next sheet by overlapping
side laps at 3" minimum. Overlap at cut end laps minimum 6". Position successive rolls
using the 5 FASTLap at the end lap and 3" SEALLap ULTRA granule free side lap.
Ensure a watertight seal. Press the membrane into place with firm, even pressure. Roll
the entire roof surface with an 80 lb. minimum weighted roller to insure complete contact
to the underlying surface. Edges or laps to be firmly rolled by hand roller to ensure full
adhesion. Applications equal to or greater than 1/5" slope per foot of rise, to be back
nailed at the seams with 11-gauge ring shank simplex -type nails at 8" On center. Care
to be taken to prevent injury when rolling membrane, especially on slope surfaces.
Details and T-Joints are carried out by the use of hot-air welding technique or PolyPlus
50 Premium Modified Wet/Dry Cement.
