Verify placement locations and plumbness, confirm element diameters, bell diameters (if applicable), lengths, embedment into bedrock (if applicable) and --- adequate end -bearing strata capacity. Record concrete or grout volumes. 3. For concrete elements, perform additional inspections in accordance with Section 1705.3. Other Work — Verification/Inspection Other Work — Verification/Inspection Page 3 of 4 d.) Check lumber and plywood for excessive deflection, splitting, splintering, crushing, twisting or bowing.. e.) Check lumber and plywood for proper species, grade, agency certification, surfacing and chemical treatment. f.). Check installation of bridging and bracing. 7. MISCELLANEOUS. a.) Check for local failures such as cracks, deflections or settlement. b.) Check surface of structural concrete for rust spots and exposed reinforcing. c.) Check for holes drilled, cut or chipped into walls, columns or slabs without prior approval. d.) Check job site for undermining of foundations or shores due to soil erosion. Upon completion of the. project, and prior to the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy, the Special Inspector shall file a signed. and sealed statement essentially in the following form: "To the best of my knowledge and belief, the above -described construction of all structural load -bearing components complies with the permitted documents, submitted to the enforcement- agency." Respectfully Submitted, Page 4 of 4
