meter can location
two 2" pvc conduits will be
installed from the meter
can to the transformer.
3 phase 4 wire.
four 3/0 copper wires will be
installed into each 2" conduit
the existing service was fed by a
single 2" conduit with utility
pulled in wire.
the existing utility wire had a
downsized neutral that burned
up in the transformer through
the conduit into the meter can.
it appears the AIRY wire may
have been 1/0 aluminum with a
downsized neutral wire.
picture to the left is existing
service 120/208v, 3 ph, 4 wire
with two 200 amp, 3 ph, 4 wire
disconnects to each side of the
meter.
