FENDER WASHERS OR 1-3/4" SQUARE BY 0.090 THICK ALUMINUM WASHER (#6063-T6). WASHERS SHALL
BE INSTALLED ON BOTH ENDS OF THE BOLTING.

7. WHENEVER A SCREEN ENCLOSURE IS TO BE ERECTED ON A NEW °FOOTER THE FOLLOWING
REQUIREMENTS MUST BE MET:
A. IF THE FOOTER IS BEING MONOLITHICALLY POURED AS PART OF A 4" THICK PATIO SLAB THE
FOOTER SHALL BE 8" x 8" IF THE LENGTH OF THE FOOTER IS 30 FEET OR LESS AND 12" x 12" IF
•� THE FOOTER IS MORE THAN 30 FEET LONG. THE 8" x 8" FOOTER WILL HAVE 145 REBAR
CONTINOUS WITH FIBER MESH CONCRETE AND ALL LONGER FOOTERS WILL HAVE 2 - #5 REBARS
CONTINOUS WITH FIBER MESH CONCRETE.
B. IF THE FOOTER IS A CONTINOUS PERIMETER CONCRETE FOOTER IT SHALL BE 8" x 8" IF THE
LENGTH OF THE FOOTER IS 20 FEET OR LESS AND 12" x 12" IF THE FOOTER IS MORE THAN 20
AND LESS THAN 40 FEET LONG AND 12" x 16" IF THE FOOTER IS GREATER THAN 40 FEET LONG.
THE 8" x 8" FOOTER WILL HAVE 1- #5 REBAR CONTINOUS WITH FIBER MESH CONCRETE AND
ALL LONGER FOOTERS WILL HAVE 2 - #5 REBARS CONTINOUS WITH FIBER MESH CONCRETE.
