Dear Jeffery&Natalie Klaas:
On February 17,2021,we received your request for verification of exemption to perform the
following activities: (1)replace an existing 370.5 sq. ft. dock with a 990 sq. ft. dock; (2) install a
boatlift; and(3) install 1481n. ft. of seawall within 18 inches waterward (wefface to wetface) of
existing seawall. The project is located in the North Fork of the St. Lucie River, Class III
Waters, adjacent to 151 N Naranja Avenue, Port St Lucie(Section 21,Township 36 South,
Range 40 East), in Saint Lucie County(Latitude N 27° 19' 29.95", Longitude W-800 20' 9.37").
Your request has been reviewed to determine whether it qualifies for(1)regulatory exemption,
(2)proprietary authorization(related to state-owned submerged lands), and(3)federal approval
that may be necessary for work in wetlands or waters of the United States:``
Your project qualifies for all three. However,this letter does;n&)relieve you from the
responsibility of obtaining other federal, state, or local author-izationsthat may be required for
the activity. �a
