To Whom It May Concern:
This letter is to certify that the exterior sliding glass doors at the above referenced unit may be removed
and replaced with PGT WinGuard Aluminum Sliding Glass Doors,Model 770BP (Small Missile Impact).
The subject doors are approved per Florida Product Approval No.251.6 and Notice of Acceptance No.
20-0429.11, and have a design pressure of+90/-130 psf,which far exceeds the required component rating
of+50.5/-63.9 psf. The subject units are to be installed per the installation requirements provided by the
manufacturer,but are required to be installed with a minimum of 3"x 1/4"Elco UltraCon(or equal)spaced
at 4"on center on the header and jambs. Fasteners shall be installed through a minimum%"pressure
treated wood buck into the filled concrete masonry unit wall of the structure. The door units and bucks
shall be flashed and waterproofed per Section 703.4 of the 2020 Florida Building Code, 71 Edition.
