Nutting Engineers of Florida, Inc. has performed limited geotechnical engineering
services for the referenced pool as follows. The pool backfill area between the house
and the proposed pool was probed with a Static Cone Penetrometer to evaluate the
level of compaction of the backfill material by the pool wall. Three probes were
performed at the following locations:
1) East end of pool between house and pool.
2) North end of pool.
3) South end of pool.
It is our opinion that the backfill by the pool wall as indicated by the above test locations
has been compacted to a density of the order of 95 percent modified Proctor.
