1. ONE (1) INSTALLATION ANCHOR OR INSTALLATION STRAP IS REQUIRED AT EACH
ANCHOR LOCATION SHOWN.
2. THE NUMBER OF INSTALLATION ANCHORS DEPICTED IS THE MINIMUM
NUMBER OF ANCHORS TO BE USED FOR PRODUCT INSTALLATION.
3. INSTALL INDIVIDUAL INSTALLATION ANCHORS WITHIN A TOLERANCE OF
tl/2 INCH OF THE DEPICTED LOCATION IN THE ANCHOR LAYOUT DETAIL

Installation:
Flange Installation
A. For concrete or masonry substrates where one -by (1x), non-structural, wood bucking is
employed, or is directly fastened to concrete, use 3/16" diameter ITW Topcon type (or
equal) concrete screw anchors of sufficient length to achieve a minimum embedment of
1.25" into concrete or masonry substrates.
B. For concrete or masonry substrates where wood bucking is NOT employed, use 3/16"
diameter ITW Topcon type (or equal) concrete screw anchors of sufficient length to achieve
a minimum embedment of 1.25" into concrete or masonry substrates.
C. For two -by (2x) wood frame substrate, use #10 pan head wood screws of sufficient length to
achieve minimum embedment of 1.5" into wood framing.
Clip Installation
A. For concrete or masonry substrates where one -by (1x), non-structural, wood bucking is
employed, or is directly fastened to concrete, use 3/16" diameter ITW Topcon type (or
equal) concrete screw anchors of sufficient length to achieve a minimum embedment of
1.25" into concrete or masonry substrates.

Fin Installation

length to achieve minimum embedment of 2" into wood framing.

Limits of use:
1. This product has been evaluated and is in compliance with the Florida Building Code, excluding
the "High Velocity Hurricane Zone" (HVHZ).
2. The product anchors shall be as listed and spaced as shown on the details. Anchor embedment
into the substrate material shall be beyond wail dressing or stucco.
3. When used in areas requiring wind borne debris protection this product complies with the
Florida Building Code and does not require an impact resistant covering.
4. Site conditions that deviate from details of drawing SAP.W.1003 red 6/13/2016 require further
engineering analysis by a licensed engineer or registered architect.
