At your request in reference to the Miami Dade Checklist requirements, based on my review of applicable sections
of the 2020 Florida Building Code and the submitted test reports, it is my professional opinion that the siding products
listed in the attached NOA meet the requirements of the 2020 Florida Building Code.
At your request, based on my review of applicable sections of the 2020 Florida Building Code and the submitted test
reports for the subject products listed in the above referenced NOA, it is my professional opinion that the siding
products listed in the NOA meet the requirements of the 2020 Florida Building Code. Attached are the updated
stamped product installation drawings.
The following are referenced standards in the 2020 FBC:
(1) Wood: AWC NDS-2018 & SDPWS-2015
(2) Structural Design: ASCE 7-16
(3) Concrete: ACI. 318-14
(4) Masonry: TMS 402-2016
(5) Structural Steel: AISC 360-16 and 2017 AISC Steel Construction Manual
(6) Cold -formed Steel: AISI 100-16
(7) Aluminum: AA ADM 1-2015
In addition, I make the following Statement of Independence:
(a) I, V. Andrew Tan, do not have nor intend to acquire or will acquire any financial interest in any company
manufacturing or distributing products for which evaluations are issued.
(b) CAE is not owned, operated or controlled by any company manufacturing or distributing products we evaluate
or inspect.
(c) CAE does not have, nor will it acquire financial interest in any company manufacturing or distributing products
for which reports are being issued.
(d) CAE does not have, or will it acquire a financial interest in any other entity involved in the approval process
