Product Description: Series 8800 Vinyl Sliding Glass Door, Large Missile Impact Resistant, 4’ nominal
panel widths, 96” door heights, with design pressures of +/-50 psf (annealed laminated glass) and +/-65
psf (heat strengthened laminated glass), with panel reinforcement required as shown in CWS-1150B

Statement of Compliance: This report evaluates the above-listed product per the requirements of FAC
Product Approval Rule Chapter 61G20-3.005 (4). This product complies with the requirements of the 7th
Edition (2020) Florida Building Code including the High Velocity Hurricane Zone. The product testing
standards performed are outlined below.

2) Approval drawing CWS-1150B, signed and sealed by Lucas A. Turner, P.E.
3) Keystone Certifications CAR documents 138-569, 570, 1394.0, 1395.0, 1397.0, and 1398.0
4) Test Reports F1575.05/06/07/08/09/10/11/12/13-401-18/44, from Intertek/ATI, Tampa, FL (TAS
testing signed/sealed by Justin P. McDonald), and CWS-010-02-01/02, by PRI Construction
Materials Technologies, Tampa, FL (TAS testing signed/sealed by Zachary R. Priest), with
testing performed: TAS 201/202/203-94, AAMA/WDMA/CSA 101/I.S.2/A440-11, ASTM E
1886-05, ASTM E 1996-09
5) Supplemental Calcs. to support CWS-1150B, signed and sealed by Lucas A. Turner, P.E.
Installation: Units must be installed according to approval document CWS-1150B.
Limitations of Use: This product:
• May be used in sizes, design pressures, and with max. glass DLO sizes as shown in CWS-1150B
• Is large missile (9lb 2x4, 50 ft/s) impact resistant and does not require the use of shutters
• May be used in the High Velocity Hurricane Zone and ASTM Wind Zone 4 areas
• Requires laminated glazing as shown in CWS-1150B, with Kuraray Butacite PVB Interlayer per
Miami-Dade NOA 19-0305.02†
• Requires Vision Extrusions PVC frames in accordance with NOA 18-1108.10†
† I have evaluated the interlayer and framing materials in these Kuraray and Vision NOAs and
find that they comply with the requirements of the 7th Ed. (2020) Florida Building Code for use in
this product.
