To Whom It May Concern:
We submit this letter in fulfillment of a request from TG Construction Group, Inc. The project site is
located at 192 SE Lucero Drive in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Based on the information we received, we
understand that roof underlayment was installed without inspection of the roof sheathing.
On Sunday April 25, 2021, NV5 along with a representative from TG Construction Group, Inc. visited
the site to perform the inspection. Our inspection included a review of the photographs of the
sheathing before and after by the roofing contractor, entering in the attic space to inspect the
:sheathing, cutting out(plugging)sections of the underlayment down to the sheathing.
Based on our observation and the documentation provided, there are sufficient evidence that the
roof sheathing was re-nailed as required by the latest edition of the 2020 Florida Building Code and
the City of Port St. Lucie guidelines. Also, we observed sections of the sheathing that were replaced
as shown on the photographs provided.
Based on our observation, inspection and the assessment of the roof, it•is our professional opinion
that the roof sheathing,was re-nailed as required and the damaged pieces removed and replaced
with new 5/8 inch plywood sheathing. The sheathing was nailed with 8d ring shank nails.
