This structure has been designed in accordance with the requirements of the 2014 Florida
Building Code, Fifth Edition - Residential, Chapter 3, Section R301.2.1. The following'
wind load requirements, in accordance with 2014 Florida Building Code, Fifth Edition -
Building, Chapter 16, Structural Design, Section 1609 and ASCE 7-10 were employed in
the design of the structure:

Approved Fasteners:
3/16 Tapcon with 1 3/" penetration =230 lb. of holding power.
%4'Tapcon with 2" penetration = 380 lb. of holding power.
See manufacturers specification for required fasteners to attach garage door, entry doors, patio doors and
windows to building. Note: Garage door"bucks"shall be attached to studs with 3/8"x4" lag bolts. Spaced
each 24" o.c.with minimum of 3 bolts.
