General Notes
1. An electronic copy of the construction documents submitted on a CD is required. The file format shall be .pdf only.
2. All revisions, including the electronic copy must be received prior to permitting.
3. The Fire Marshal requires 24 hour notice on all inspections.
4. The respective Building Department shall schedule all final inspections through the Fire Marshal's Office.
S. Failed inspections require payment of fee prior to rescheduling of further inspections.
6. Penetrations through rated assemblies shall be of the proper UL design. Design criteria shall be submitted with the construction plans.
7. Fire alarm panels shall be located indoors within air conditioned space.
4 8. Plans and construction are subject to corrections in the field to maintain code compliance.
9. Automatic fan shutdown is required for HVAC system/s that exceed 2,000 cfm design capacity.

Required Revisions
1. A separate review and permit is required for the installation or alteration of fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems. A sprinkler and
fire alarm system is required. Voice evacuation is required for occupancies with an occupant load greater than 300 persons.
2. All exit doors and doors leading to the exit shall be equipped with panic hardware.
3. Children's church: The single leaf door used as the second means of egress shall swing in the direction of egress. Reverse the
present door swing. Provide an exit light fixture above this door on the children's church side.
4. Automatic fan shutdown is required for the HVAC units. A remote test and inspect appliance is required for each HVAC duct -
smoke detector.
5. Handrails are required for the steps leading up to the raised worship platform.

6. The children's Narthyx/Pre-K area shall have a secondary means of egress/exit.
7. The future breakroom indicated shall not be located in the means of egress for both the sanctuary and the children's church/
care area. Remove the indicated area from the plans. The means of egress is required.
B. Reference item 3 above: Provide a directional exit light fixture at the end of the corridor.
