(GRP) Ground Penetrating Radar was performed per customers request
Objective: GPR/Xray scan multiple areas in ceiling slab for post tension
cables and rebar reinforcements for 3/4" anchors.
Findings: Scanned and marked multiple areas on ceiling slab for all
embedments running 2" and shallower for anchoring 3/4" into slab. Upon
scanning, conduits, post tension cables and rebar reinforcements were
located running North and South and East and West in slab and were
clearly marked on slab to verify locations. Rebar reinforcements located
were clearly marked in black on concrete to verify locations and post
tension cables were clearly marked in red to verify locations. Conduits and
areas that were unable to be scanned were marked with 2 red lines and
dashes in between. All indications located were explained to the customer
on site and should be avoided by 1 ".
