Revision Letter
We were notified on Aug 2°a that the above mention project had 2 errors in the
construction at the rear Lanai where the window opening at the rear lanai had been built to
accommodate a SGD and the SGD was installed in the wrong location.Additionally,the SGD's
correct location had been built solid,without an opening in the masonry.
Contractor shall remove the existing SGD and maintain for reinstallation in its correct
location. The contractor shall them modify the opening to accommodate the window as per plan
by adding in the masonry and seal beneath the window at the existing opening.
The contractor shall refer to the Demo and Repair details provided with this letter to add
the opening for the SGD. The contractor shall follow all notes and details in the original permit
set. It is the responsibility of the contractor to shore and secure the structure including but not
limited to trusses, girders, and structural walls, prior to demolition and maintain until completion.
