Attachment Requirements:
Based on the requirements of Florida Product Approval # FL25621.08-R1, Load Table for
Structures in Exposure D, Hip Roofs with Max. Slope of 12/12 and Max. Mean Roof Height of
30', with Maximum Design Pressure of -175PSF; the following are the recommended fastening
method to attach the Extreme Metal Fabricators' Snap Max Roof Panels to the minimum 15/32"
plywood or 3/4" thick wood plank deck:
Roof Zones Zone 1 (1 & 1') Zone 2 (2e, 2r, & 2n) Zone 3 (3e and 3r)

Notes:
• Corners and perimeter (edge, hip, & ridge) area dimension shall not be less than a = 3'0"
(Zone 2: Perimeter is a 3'0" wide strip, Zone 3: Corners are 3'0" x 3'0")
• Our engineering attachment analysis is limited to uplift resistance only, therefore, it does t0
include waterproofing or aesthetic concerns as applicable.
• Contractor to verify that the fastening patterns meet manufacturer’s requirements for
issuance of a warranty (as applicable).
• All work shall be in compliance with the local building code product control notice of
acceptance and manufacturer specifications and Florida Building Code 2020 Edition.
• Wind load calculations based on ASCE 7-16, 2020 FBC, and information provided by client.
Client is responsible for verifying existing/proposed conditions/decks as it pertains to the
above provided product approval.
• All work shall be inspected by our field engineer (or authorized representative) or a building
department inspector to verify compliance with specifications.
