The above referenced project has an existing roof covering system that will be removed down to
the wood deck.The new roof systems will be installed per the following specifications.

• Internal Pressure: Enclosed Sloped

• Nominal/Allowable: 124 MPH • Corner: 5.8' x 5.8'
• Wind Exposure Category: C
• Size of Building(WxL): 59'x58'
Roof Material Specifications for the Flat Roof
Florida Product Approvals: FL 17322 R7: Atlas Roofing Corporation Underlayment and FL 2533.1
R25 CertainTeed, LLC Modified Bitumen Roof System W-71
The existing flat roof covering and underlayment shall be removed, and the existing wood deck
shall be verified to be in sound condition. Any necessary sheathing repairs shall be performed
per code with minimum size of sheathing repairs to span three rafters (appr)ximately 48"). The
existing deck and any repairs shall be re-nailed per current code requirements.
UnderlaymentSystem: 75#base sheet mechanically attached
The underlayment system shall be installed over minimum 19/32"thick,APA rated plywood.The
base layer shall be one of the following: Glasbase; Flexiglas; Flintlastic Base 20; All

All areas shall be fastened at 4" on center at 3" lap and 4" on center at four (4) equally spaced,
staggered center rows.
First Ply Roof Covering System: SBS-SA-H �
The first ply shall be Black Diamond Base Sheet with 4" side laps and 6" end laps with end laps
diagonally staggered not less than 3' apart.
Roof Covering System: SBS-AA, SBS-TA, or APP-TA
The bonded roof cover shall be one of the following specifications,all three are approved for this
use. The contractor shall pick only one for the entire area unless approved by the manufacturer.
1. SBS-AA: Flintlastic FR Cap 30, Flintlastic FR Dual Cap, Flintlastic FR-P, Flintlastic Premium
FR-P, Flintastic GMS or any of these products in Coolstar type in hot asphalt at 20-40
Ibs/square.
2. SBS-TA: Flintlastic FR Cap 30,Flintlastic GTS-FR or either of these products in Coolstar type
as Torch-Applied.
3. APP-TA: Flintlastic STA, Flintlastic STA Plus, Flintlastic GTA, Flintlastic GTA Coolstar,
Flintlastic GTA-FR, Flintlastic GTA-FR Coolstar as Torch-Applied.
