Griffin, Environmental Resources Director FROM: Jennifer McGee, Environmental Regulations Manager DATE: July 15, 2021 SUBJECT: Category III Administrative Wetland Waiver 2460 Dyer Road, Port St. Lucie, Fl Stephanie Korvanen Single Family Home The subject 1.32-acre site located at 2460 Dyer Road, Port Saint Lucie, FL, known as Korvanen Residence, contains wetlands characterized as Category III per Comprehensive Plan Policy 6.1.14.1 as detailed below in the exhibit from the approved Florida Department of Environmental. Protection Environmental Resource Permit 56-395525-001-EG. The proposed development plan will directly impact the CategoryIIl wetland only for access to the buildable'uplands as shown along with impacts to a portion of the required 25 ft. upland buffer. In accordance with Resolution No.15- 237, an administrative Category III wetland waiver may -be granted by the County Administrator, or designee;" in accordance with the standards set forth in the Land Development Code and Comprehensive Plan for isolated wetlands less than five (5) acres that do not qualify as Category I or II wetlands. Therefore,, the Environmental Resources Department certifies the project noted above and detailed in the FDEP ERP 56-395525-001-EG has met the requirements necessary to approve the Category III Wetland Waiver per Comprehensive Plan Policy, 6.1.14.4.
