To Whom This May Concern:
Beryl Project Engineering, LLC (“Beryl”) was retained by RoofClaim.Com with regards to an
open permit located at 2506 Gray Twig Ln, Fort Pierce, Florida 34981. This permit issued will be
to re-roof an existing building.
Beryl performed a review of the permit file as found on the St. Lucie County website, along with
EagleViews and measurements from site visits to the property. This review was a visual non-
invasive review of the Roof and grounds. Beryl used the 2020 Florida Building Code as a
guideline.
The primary purpose of this letter is for Beryl as Engineer to certify that at the time of their review
on 8/24/2021, that this letter serve as a site-specific plan indicating all retro openings and the
required design pressures along with worst case design pressure chart for a building with a mean
height of less than 30 feet. Beryl used a conservative 5:12 Roof Pitch with a rounded Mean Height
of 20 Feet for their calculations shown below for Synthetic Underlayment with Asphalt Singles.
The height from ground to eave was 8 feet and the height from ground to hip was 20 feet for an
exposure category of B. The VULT was assumed to be 165 based on Florida Residential Code
Figure R301.2(3).
