The allowable pressures provided here (Wasd) are given as 0.6*Wult, where Wultis the wind pressure calculated in accordance with Chapters 26 to 30 of ASCE 7-16 using the ultimate design wind speed (Vult) and the parameters given herein. Wasdas provided here is an appropriate load for use when: 1) Evaluating tested products for components and cladding; 2) Designing mullions, framing, and other supporting structures using Allowable Stress Design;3) Specifying fastener schedules using Allowable Stress Design. The load combinations specified in Section 1605.3 of the 2020 FBC shall be applied. No further reduction in allowable stress shall be taken (other than load duration per Chapter 23 FBC).
