Tankless water heater

Good morning,
Below is a response from an engineer who would be the one to run the numbers on the loading for the water heater,
“Typically, planning does not need to be involved with the installation of tankless water heaters. While the load can be
high per home, there is normally enough diversity at the transformer and lateral levels to remain within loading
guidelines. I have not witnessed system excessive loading due to tankless water heaters. With that said, if evaluation of
customer plans indicate there is a unique or unusually high risk of excessive loading concentrated in one area we would
certainly want to provide support and recommendations.”
Based on this info, I feel confident we will not encounter issues when installing this water heater. I do not have an official
letter stating this, but this email is my signing off on the installation.
Thanks,
Nate Holzmacher

Jesse,
Do you have any electrical loading information or plans for the installation? I would need to check and see how the
new load would affect the power to the condo.
Thanks,
