While the load can be high per home, there is normally enough diversity at the transformer and lateral levels to remain within loading guidelines. I have not witnessed system excessive loading due to tankless water heaters. With that said, if evaluation of customer plans indicate there is a unique or unusually high risk of excessive loading concentrated in one area we would certainly want to provide support and recommendations.” Based on this info, I feel confident we will not encounter issues when installing this water heater. I do not have an official letter stating this, but this email is my signing off on the installation.
