Float the cover on the pool a few days before cutting to allow the packing folds to straighten. TAKE EXTREME CAU'rlON WHEN TRIMMING OR CUTTING YOUR SOLAR POOL COVER ON ALL FORMS OF VINYL LINED POOLS OR ABOVE: GROUND POOLS. YOUR SCISSORS OR CUTTING TOOL MAY DAMAGE THE VINYL LINER. The cover oan be cut easily with ordinary scissors to fit lhe contours of the pool side wall. Before starting the cutting process, mark the outline of the pool wall on the coverwilh a marking pen. Please exercise caution when cutting around curves and angles. For all types of VINYL LINED pools remove Iha cover from the pool after you have marked it and do the !rimming and cutting away from the vinyl.liner. Since it is easy to cut off too much material, leaving a poor fit, ii is better lo cut the cover larger tllan necessary, then give it a final trimming tor exact flt after a day or two.
